Soliant is seeking an Interim Pharmacist to provide coverage in Las Vegas! Join our team and enjoy a great schedule and a tenured support team.

Job Details:  Ensure Omnicell dispensing cabinets are adequately stocked at sites throughout Vegas. You will advise clinical staff on medication selection, dose, interactions, and side effects to ensure quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:
- Review patient charts for correct medication therapy and documentation
- Conduct weekly on-site visits to each facility
- Assist in maintaining sufficient medication stock, working with pharmaceutical wholesalers if necessary
- Review and reconcile controlled substances logs and conduct an annual controlled substance inventory
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency rules and regulations
- Maintain appropriate facility licenses
- Provide on-call 24-hour service to answer questions or assist clinical staff if needed
- Counsel patients on medication therapy as required
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate drug programs and regimens

Coverage Hours:
Between 8 am - 5 pm, with potential for additional hours if cabinets need restocking. 40 hrs/week.

Weekend Coverage:
Potentially required if cabinets need restocking.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy
- State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing
