Night Shift Pharmacist - High-Impact ED Role - Gastonia, NC

Answer the call to provide critical care. A leading 435-bed medical center near Charlotte urgently seeks an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist to support its dynamic Emergency Department. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and possess ED pharmacy expertise, seize this 13-week contract opportunity with potential for extension and a unique 7-on/7-off schedule.

Contract: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)

Location: Gastonia, NC Area

Schedule: 12-Hour Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 7 Days On / 7 Days Off (Includes Every Other Weekend)

Start Date: Immediate

Your Mission:

Process all Emergency Department medication orders with speed and accuracy.

Critically review and verify physician orders for emergency and acute care patients.

Provide vital medication management support and clinical consultations.

Collaborate seamlessly with ED physicians, nurses, and technicians in real-time.

Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance, quality, and patient safety.

Requirements:

Current and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacist License (Required).

Minimum of 1 year of dedicated Emergency Department pharmacy experience (Required).

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willingness to obtain before starting).

Demonstrated proficiency in hospital pharmacy systems, order entry, and emergency medication dosing.
