Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in Charge – Plant City, FL
Shift: Day Shift
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Full-Time)


Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join a thriving, newly established 503b pharmacy in Plant City, Florida. This exciting opportunity is with a well-respected, closed-door specialty pharmacy network, with its headquarters in West Palm Beach. The Plant City location will specialize in compounding high-quality, customized medications, including hormone replacement therapy, weight-loss solutions, anti-aging treatments, and other compounded formulations.

This role is perfect for a candidate with a strong background in sterile compounding, especially injectables and powders, who is passionate about leading a team and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the pharmacy team, including pharmacists, pre-production, cleanroom, and post-production staff.
  • Ensure that cGMP standards are rigorously followed, overseeing documentation, batch records, and compliance checks.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of compounding records and ensure all processes adhere to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain strict adherence to local, state, and federal pharmacy laws and industry regulations.
  • Support human resources functions, including hiring, training, and evaluating pharmacy staff in collaboration with leadership.
  • Lead the compounding of medications, ensuring accuracy and safety at every stage.

    Qualifications:

  • A valid and active Pharmacist license in Florida.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in sterile compounding, particularly with injectable and powdered medications.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a managerial pharmacy role, with a focus on leadership and team development.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality control standards in sterile compounding.
