Soliant Health is seeking a highly qualified Pharmacist in Charge for a direct hire opportunity in a specialty/infusion pharmacy setting. This full-time leadership role is perfect for a licensed pharmacist with experience overseeing pharmacy operations and staff, especially in a clinical, specialty, or infusion environment.

Position Overview

The Pharmacy Manager serves as the Pharmacist in Charge and is responsible for the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of pharmacy services. This includes overseeing prescription verification, team supervision, clinical assessments, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The Pharmacy Manager is also responsible for maintaining state licenses and accreditation standards as required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all pharmacy operations, supervising pharmacists, technicians, and support staff

  • Act as the Pharmacist in Charge and ensure all compliance with state boards and accrediting bodies

  • Conduct drug utilization reviews and ensure patient safety

  • Manage performance evaluations, staff training, scheduling, and disciplinary processes

  • Coordinate inventory management, procurement, and product fulfillment

  • Review and interpret clinical data, patient history, and therapeutic responses

  • Collaborate with prescribers to optimize patient treatment plans

  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations, medication counseling, and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and internal SOPs

  • Participate in on-call rotation, audits, and quality assurance initiatives


    Preferred Qualifications

  • PharmD or BSPharm and current pharmacist license in good standing

  • Minimum 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in a pharmacy setting

  • Familiarity with CareTend/CPR+ system preferred

  • Strong knowledge of infusion or specialty pharmacy operations

  • Understanding of accreditation standards (URAC, ACHC, etc.)

  • Experience with 340B, insurance reimbursement, and regulatory reporting is a plus
