Shift: 3 12 hour day shifts/week. Ideally will work Mon, Tues, Thur 6 am to 6 pm (36 hours/week)
Job Summary
The Pharmacist will review medication orders from physicians and physician extenders, ensuring the appropriate drug, dose, frequency, and route of administration. They will assess patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and lab data for any clinical conflicts before dispensing. The role includes inventory control, providing drug information to the healthcare team, and overseeing pharmacy students and technicians in medication preparation. Collaboration with the healthcare team for discharge planning and continuum of care is essential.
