Pharmacist - Hospital Inpatient
Location: Winamac, IN
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full Time (30 hours/week)

Overview:
RPH on the go is actively seeking a Pharmacist for a direct hire position in a 25-bed critical access hospital in Winamac, IN. This role offers a great opportunity for new graduates to start their career in an inpatient hospital setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring accurate medication dispensing, managing pharmacy operations, and assisting in the training of new staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill medication orders and maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances.

Review technician-prepared products prior to release.

Enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy system with precision.

Assist the Director with daily operations and maintain the pharmacy’s functionality.

Participate in the training of new staff members.

Float to the outpatient pharmacy as needed.

Equipment Utilized:

EMR: CPSI

Automated Dispensing Cabinet: Omnicell

Required Skills and Qualifications:

No prior experience necessary; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.

Licensed pharmacist in good standing in Indiana.

Ability to work independently, set priorities, and make critical decisions.

Proficiency with pharmacy software, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule Requirements:

Weekend rotation required.

On-call duty after full training.

Floating to Other Units/Departments:

Will cover outpatient pharmacy as needed.
