Soliant Health is seeking two experienced and compassionate Retail Pharmacists for per diem coverage with a specialty pharmacy in the Pittsburgh area. This facility focuses on high-touch, patient-centered care for individuals with complex medication needs. Position Overview:

Schedule: Per Diem (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Setting: Specialty Retail Pharmacy

Software: Pioneer Rx Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-depth medication consultations to patients managing chronic and complex disease states

Build strong relationships with patients to ensure understanding and adherence to medication regimens

Educate patients with limited health literacy using clear and compassionate communication

Verify and dispense prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency

Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations Required Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license

Strong retail and/or specialty pharmacy experience

Deep understanding of common disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, HIV, MS, and others

Ability to consult confidently on a wide range of medications (top 200–400 commonly prescribed drugs)

Exceptional communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills

Commitment to patient care over prescription volume Preferred:

Specialty pharmacy experience

Experience with Medicare/Medicaid patient populations
