Part Time Inpatient Pharmacy Technician - Wisconsin

Details:Start Date: July 21
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Work Schedule: Three 10-hour shifts weekly (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Rotating weekend: Every 4th weekend (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Role Summary:
You will support a hospital pharmacy by managing complex medication and vaccine inventories, preparing compounded and infused medications, and maintaining critical pharmacy systems. This position plays an essential role in maintaining compliance, efficiency, and safety across all pharmacy operations.
Primary Responsibilities: Understanding of how to use Omnicell
Maintain compliance and tracking for the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program
Compound sterile and non-sterile medications, including chemotherapy agents
Assist with preparation of monoclonal antibody infusions for outpatient use
Unit dose packaging of oral and injectable medications
Complete routine audits, environmental monitoring, and system maintenance
Candidate Requirements:
Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license in Wisconsin
Minimum one year of inpatient or compounding pharmacy experience
Hands-on experience with Omnicell or similar automated dispensing systems
Demonstrated competency in aseptic technique and safety compliance
Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
