Soliant Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team within the healthcare industry. In this role, you’ll support attorneys and healthcare providers in navigating legal and operational issues impacting the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collections Support: Draft demand letters, payment plans, and termination notices for customers with outstanding invoices. Escalate issues to legal channels when necessary.
  • Contract Support: Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, working with legal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Compliance Assistance: Help ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other state and federal requirements.
  • Legal Case Support: Prepare, gather, and review documents for discovery, subpoenas, and responses to requests for information related to medical malpractice, insurance claims, and healthcare disputes.
  • Research: Conduct legal and factual research on healthcare laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Assist in communications with clients and stakeholders involved in healthcare-related legal matters.

    Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Additional coursework or certification in healthcare law is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience in healthcare settings such as pharmacy, nursing, or related fields is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills. Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing large amounts of paperwork.
  • Legal Knowledge: Knowledge of healthcare laws, HIPAA regulations, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements is essential.
