Now Hiring: Full-Time Compounding Staff Pharmacist – Fort Myers, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire (TTH)
Environment: Specialty Compounding / Retail Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (9-hour days, some flexibility available)
Script Volume: Averaging 80 prescriptions per day
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee customized medication preparations – sterile and non-sterile – following USP 795/800 standards
• Ensure precise calculations and dosing accuracy
• Maintain and audit formulation records and batch logs
• Monitor compliance: beyond-use dating, documentation, and regulatory standards
• Serve as a key liaison for patient/provider communication
• Collaborate directly with ownership to improve workflow and expand pharmacy services
Note: Pharmacist will not perform the actual compounding
