A mail order pharmacy in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to provide part-time coverage while the site works through a backlog. This role is expected to last 12 or more weeks, with the possibility of extension based on workload.
Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, pharmacy hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Environment: Closed-door mail order pharmacy
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and check technician-prepared prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
Occasionally engage in phone consultations with patients or providers as needed
Maintain high standards for quality, accuracy, and patient care
Requirements:
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (Required)
At least 2 years of recent pharmacist experience (Required)
Mail order or closed-door pharmacy experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
