Duration: 13-week contract to hire

Shift: Must be flexible to work days, evenings, and rotating weekends

Job Description:
As a Lead/Supervising Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in managing and supervising the pharmacy technician team. This is a leadership position that offers you the opportunity to guide and mentor your team while ensuring the highest standards of service and accuracy. You will oversee a variety of pharmacy tasks, including:

  • Supervising the pharmacy technician team in performing essential duties such as data entry, fulfillment, dispensing medications, making Ekits, and blister packing.
  • Ensuring team efficiency and accuracy, as well as providing support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Collaborating with your colleagues to improve operational workflows and contribute to the success of the pharmacy.
  • Operating the Frameworks system for medication management and dispensing.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Prior lead or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Licensure: PA does not regulate pharmacy technicians, but a PTCB certification is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to supervise a team effectively. You should be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced setting and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes both day and evening shifts, along with rotating weekends.
