Job Title: Experienced IV/TPN Pharmacist
Type:  – Direct Hire
Location: Plymouth, MI
Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational needs related to dispensing prescription medications in a long-term care setting. You’ll adhere to company policies, state and federal guidelines, and ensure that patients receive high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new patient referral prescriptions and oversee preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications.
  • Collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Provide client care, including patient follow-ups, monitoring clinical laboratory data, and collaborating with physicians on medication dosing and adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient input of prescription information.
  • Comply with all state and federal reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety practices and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Uphold high standards for customer service and quality care, building strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers.

    What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree in Pharmacy
  • Current Pharmacist License (in good standing)
  • Hands-on TPN and IV infusion experience (recent, within the last 2 years)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in an acute-care setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of intravenous admixtures and therapy is essential
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks

    Preferred System Experience:

  • Experience with Frameworks pharmacy software

    Additional Info:

  • Note: Hands-on IV/TPN making experience in a hospital setting is acceptable, as long as at least 30-40% of your day is spent making IVs.
