We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a full-time contract opportunity at a respected medical center in Ventura, California. This is a great position for a technician with IV admixture experience who is looking to join a clinical team and make an immediate impact.
Position Details:
Location: Ventura County, CA
Setting: Hospital / IV Room
Duration: 3 – 6 months
Schedule: Full-time, day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Work within the IV room to prepare sterile medications
Support pharmacists and medical staff with accurate and timely medication preparation
Follow all USP <797> and <800> guidelines
Maintain inventory and ensure sterile compounding compliance
Ideal Candidate:
Active California Pharmacy Technician license
IV admixture experience is required
Hospital or sterile compounding experience highly preferred
Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment
