Job Description:
As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and compounding sterile intravenous (IV) medications in a cleanroom environment. Your role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and safety of all IV products dispensed. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications, including TPN, antibiotics, and chemotherapy.
• Adhere to all aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a cleanroom environment.
• Accurately label and document all compounded medications.
• Maintain and restock IV room supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective preparation of medications.
• Comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday : 8-hour shifts within the hours of 8:00am -7:30pm
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• AZ Pharmacy Technician license
• IV certification
• CPR+ or Caretend experience
• Must have at least 1-2 years in an infusion pharmacy setting
• Must have STRONG USP 797 knowledge.
