IV Experienced Pharmacy Technician (TPN) - Concord, NH

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and Compound IV Solutions: Accurately prepare and compound sterile IV solutions and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) according to established protocols and guidelines.

Ensure Sterility and Compliance: Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure the sterility of all compounded products and comply with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Labeling and Documentation: Label IV and TPN products correctly, ensuring all necessary information is included, and maintain accurate records of compounding processes.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of IV and TPN supplies, ensuring that all materials are properly stocked and within expiration dates.

Assist with Patient Profiles: Review patient profiles to confirm appropriate therapy and identify any potential drug interactions or contraindications.

Quality Control: Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes, including regular checks of equipment and environmental conditions in the compounding area.

Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address any concerns regarding IV or TPN therapies.

Training and Support: Assist in training and mentoring new pharmacy staff on IV and TPN preparation procedures and best practices.
