Soliant is expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to serve as PIC in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Location: Wausau, WI
Start Date: October 14, 2024 (or October 21, 2024)
We're seeking a **Pharmacy Manager/PIC for a physical rehabilitation hospital in Wausau, WI. This is a temporary role, covering until a permanent manager is hired.
Facility Details:
- Staffed beds: 44
- Average daily census: 25 (growing to capacity)
- Pharmacy Hours: 8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday
- On-call: Required from 4:30 pm – 8 am, Monday – Friday, and 24 hours on weekends
- Team: 1 pharmacist (manager) + 1 technician (PRN hiring in progress)
- System: Wellsky for order entry, Pyxis for automation
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as both Pharmacy Manager and PIC
- Oversee pharmacy staffing and daily operations
- Manage on-call duties every evening and weekend
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accountability and adherence to hospital standards
This is a new facility (opened May 2024) undergoing leadership transitions, so we're looking for a strong pharmacy leader to drive success.
