Inpatient Pharmacist | Virginia
Soliant Health is seeking a highly capable and experienced hospital pharmacist for an exciting contract opportunity near Moseley, VA. This role is based in a large acute care hospital and is designed for pharmacists who are confident working independently, handling complex clinical scenarios, and supporting a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have strong inpatient experience and be familiar with pharmacy informatics systems.
Schedule:Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
Structured 7on/7off schedule, offering a balanced work-life rhythm
Responsibilities Include:
Timely and accurate medication order verification
Direct consultation with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Supervision of pharmacy technicians and coordination of workflow
Clinical tasks including pharmacokinetics, therapeutic drug monitoring, and renal dosing adjustments
Supporting compliance with hospital protocols, drug utilization reviews, and medication safety practices

Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Virginia Pharmacist license (must be in-hand prior to submission)
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to manage complex medication regimens
Familiarity with pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, and high-risk medication handling
Previous experience with Meditech, Pyxis, and other hospital pharmacy technology platforms
Ability to work independently, make critical decisions under pressure, and provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team
