Inpatient Pharmacist Pittsburgh, PA
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication therapy for hospitalized patients. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with 1–2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, a strong clinical background, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications for inpatient use and ensure proper administration
Monitor patient responses to medications, assessing effectiveness and side effects
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient care
Review and process medication orders with attention to detail and safety
Educate and advise healthcare professionals and patients on medication usage and safety
Qualifications:
Active PA pharmacist license
1–2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
Strong clinical knowledge in medication therapy management
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hospital setting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
