Inpatient Pharmacist Coverage – Lake Providence, Louisiana
Term of Assignment: May 19 - 23
Location: Lake Providence, LA
Compensation: $2, 700+ Weekly
Assignment Details:
Dates: May 19 - 23
Shifts: 1st Shift
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm
Pharmacy Software: Pyxis, Athena
Hospital Setting: Very small hospital with only 4 patients; you’ll be the sole pharmacist on duty with one experienced pharmacy technician on shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Compounding IV medications (must be skilled in IV compounding).
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and providing essential medication management.
Collaborating with the medical team to ensure proper medication protocols for the patients.
Requirements:
Active Louisiana Pharmacist License (required).
IV Compounding Experience (required).
Previous inpatient hospital experience.
