Inpatient Pharmacist 2nd Shift Los Angeles, CA
Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a hospital located just east of Downtown Los Angeles. This is a 7-on, 7-off second shift position in a ~400-bed facility, ideal for pharmacists looking to maintain a strong work-life balance while contributing to a high-acuity inpatient setting.
Schedule:
7-on/7-off, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM (10-hour shifts with a 30-minute break)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification and clinical review of medications
Supervise pharmacy technicians
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff
Monitor and manage pharmacokinetics and patient-specific drug therapy
Technology:
Allscripts (please indicate if you have prior experience using this system)
Ideal Candidate:
Active California Pharmacist license
5+ years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience or PGY1 residency plus 2 years of experience
Prior use of Allscripts is highly preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to function independently in a busy environment
Residency training is strongly preferred by pharmacy leadership
