Infusion Pharmacist Job Full-Time AZ

Soliant is currently seeking an Infusion Pharmacist for a position in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves working with acute conditions in an infusion pharmacy setting, primarily focusing on preparing sterile compounds for IVs/Hydration, TPNs, and Antibiotics.

Location:** Phoenix, AZ
Start Date:** ASAP  
End Date:** 13 weeks/Contract to Hire  
Shift:** Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Software:** CareTend

**Experience Required:**

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting
- Strong clinical and communication skills to effectively work with patients and providers
- Hands-on IV making experience for at least 2-3 years

**Summary:**

The Pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical care services by dispensing medication, monitoring patients’ drug therapies, and providing consultation to medical and nursing staff. They will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

- Exercise sound professional judgment in assuming responsibility for the medication use process and patient outcomes
- Oversee the efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions
- Communicate with providers to influence optimal drug therapy
- Monitor patients’ drug therapy and provide drug information
- Oversee and direct pharmacy technical staff
- Screen medication orders for correctness and communicate problems
- Maintain awareness of medication change information, new products, and regulations
- Provide medication information and pharmacokinetic dosing advice
- Ensure compliance with legal issues and regulations
- Exhibit courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Adjust to fluctuating operational demands while maintaining quality

**License Requirement:**  
Arizona pharmacist license in good standing
