Position Overview

  • Title: Infusion/Clinical Pharmacist
  • Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (13 weeks with the potential for permanent placement)
  • Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85004
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with rotating on-call weekends.
  • Start Date: ASAP

    What You’ll Do

  • Prepare sterile compounds, including IVs, hydration, TPNs, and antibiotics, for patients with acute conditions.
  • Monitor and adjust patients’ drug therapies to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Work directly with patients and providers, offering expert advice on medications, dosing, and treatment plans.
  • Lead and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Stay on top of regulations and best practices to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently.
  • Be a resource for drug information, dosage guidance, and pharmacokinetics.

    Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years in an infusion pharmacy setting (this is a must-have).
  • License: Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Skills: You’re confident, an excellent communicator, and ready to step up in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Software: Familiarity with CareTend (formerly CPR+) is a big plus.
  • Bonus: You thrive on taking ownership of your role and making a real impact.

    What You Need to Know

  • Interview Process: Candidates will need to pass an infusion competency test during the on-site interview.
  • Environment: The pharmacy just moved into a brand-new 30,000 sq. ft. facility—big changes are happening here, and they need a pharmacist who can grow with them!
