We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join a dynamic team at a 200+ bed community hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana. This travel assignment offers a great work environment with opportunities to engage in diverse clinical responsibilities. Assignment Overview:
Location: Alexandria, LA
Start Date: ASAP
Length: 13-week contract
Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Rotating schedule with possible shifts of 6AM–4:30PM, 7AM–5:30PM, or 12:30PM–11PM. Every other weekend required.
Hospital Systems:
EPIC (EMR) / Pyxis (medication dispensing)
Job Functions:Verifying medication orders
Supervising pharmacy technicians
Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff
Pharmacokinetics and dose adjustments
Required Documentation: License verification
BLS certification (via AHA)
