Job Duties:
• Accurately verify and fill prescriptions, ensuring the safe distribution of medications.
• Provide expert advice to patients on the proper use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including potential side effects and drug interactions.
• Monitor drug interactions and contraindications and ensure the safe storage and handling of all medications.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient interactions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Illinois
• Experience with PioneerRx software a plus
