Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week assignment in Mauston, Wisconsin. Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, 13-week contract

  • Schedule: Varies between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday

  • Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • EMR System: Meditech

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of retail pharmacy practice including prescription intake, processing, dispensing, and patient consultation

  • Accurately take verbal prescriptions and provide clinical insight during consultations

  • Administer vaccines in accordance with pharmacy protocols and state regulations

  • Compound medications as needed and supervise pharmacy interns and technicians

  • Monitor therapeutic drug regimens, conduct pharmacokinetic dosing consults, and offer clinical drug education

  • Maintain and manage inventory levels, order and receive stock, and ensure accurate restocking

  • Uphold departmental standards for quality control, assurance, and Medicare accreditation requirements

  • Provide additional pharmaceutical services such as home health aid support and patient medical history collection

    Required Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Wisconsin Pharmacist license

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience

  • Experience with Meditech EMR is strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and counseling skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of technicians and interns

  • Experience in immunization administration

  • Immediate availability to begin assignment
