We are working with a reputable pharmacy in Ogdensburg, New York, to bring on board a Full-Time Pharmacist. The position requires a qualified candidate who is fully licensed and is experienced in administering a variety of vaccines.

Position Details:

Location: Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule: 4x10 or 4x12 shifts (e.g., 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM), with some evening shifts required.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Oversight: Register with the state board as the Supervising Pharmacist or Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy board regulations.

Operational Management: Oversee pharmacy operations, focusing on achieving financial targets including budgeting, payroll, inventory management, and third-party administration.

Team Leadership: Supervise pharmacy support staff, conducting performance reviews, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Business Development: Engage in community outreach and business growth initiatives to drive pharmacy success.

Patient Care: Offer patient-centered services such as Medication Therapy Management (MTM), wellness programs, and immunizations. Provide medication counseling to both patients and healthcare providers.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy associates complete required training and stay updated on continuing education requirements. Participate in continuous quality improvement programs for enhanced patient safety.

Vaccine Administration: Comfortable administering all vaccines in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

NY Pharmacist License: Active and in good standing.

PharmD: preferred.

Immunization Certification: Must be certified and proficient in administering a variety of vaccines.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $62/hr - $65/hr, depending on experience.
