Full-Time Pharmacist

Location: New York City, NY (Near Central Park)

RPh on the go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at a high-volume pharmacy near Central Park. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures.
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure the correct amount of medication is provided to patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Must hold a current and active New York State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is required.
  • Must have experience working in a high-volume environment (800+ prescriptions per day).
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity is essential for sustained periods.

Working Conditions:

• The role requires constant standing or walking.
• Manual dexterity is necessary for handling and dispensing medications.
