Position Overview:Setting: Long Term Care
Location: Nordness, IA
Schedule: Dayshift + Rotating Weekends
Duration: Open to Temp-to-Hire or Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department in a long-term care setting.
Ensure medication safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control procedures are followed.
Lead and manage a team of pharmacy staff while providing mentorship and support.
Conduct Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and other clinical services as required.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care outcomes.
Requirements:
Active Iowa Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain reciprocity
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or MTM Certification required
Pharmacy Manager or PIC (Pharmacist in Charge) experience is a must
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage workflows, compliance, and maintain high standards of pharmacy practice in a long-term care setting
