Full-Time IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Windsor Mill, MD
We are seeking an Maryland-licensed and experienced IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week contract in a Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Windsor Mill.
This role requires recent sterile compounding experience and an active Maryland pharmacy technician license.
Schedule:
Day Shift, Monday – Friday, with rotating weekends based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile compounds in accordance with USP 797 guidelines
Maintain and clean sterile compounding areas (Class 100 clean room)
Fill prescriptions and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision
Manage long-term care orders and assist with Emergency Drug Kits
Perform accurate data entry and handle facility communications
Stock IV department and conduct safety checks
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal policies
Participate in overtime, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed
Carry out other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license
2+ years of IV sterile compounding experience
Recent experience in a pharmacy setting
