We’re looking for a highly qualified IV/Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our team for a 13-week contract in Germantown, MD. If you have experience in inpatient IV compounding, are proficient with automation systems like Talyst and Pyxis ES, and are committed to delivering safe and effective medication management, we’d love to have you on board. Job Opportunity: IV/Inpatient Pharmacy Technician
Location: Germantown, MD (West of Baltimore, North of Washington, D.C.)
Start Date: January 5th
End Date: 13-week contract
Shift: Flexible - Must be able to work days, evenings, and nights

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound intravenous medications in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Assist pharmacists in providing accurate medication dispensing for inpatient settings.

Operate pharmacy automation systems, including Talyst and Pyxis ES.

Document medication dispensing accurately in the EPIC EMR system.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Experience: Must have prior experience in inpatient IV preparation and familiarity with automation systems such as Talyst and Pyxis ES.

Licensing: Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license required.

Certifications: PTCB Certification required.

EMR Experience: Prior experience using EPIC EMR is a plus.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and nights.
