Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated hospital pharmacist for a full-time travel contract in Philadelphia, PA. This is a prime opportunity to work within a respected inpatient pharmacy team where your clinical judgment and expertise will directly impact patient care outcomes across various hospital units.

Assignment Overview:

Start Date: July 21

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts weekly (Day shift) Position Summary:
You’ll be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring the safety and appropriateness of drug therapy based on patient-specific clinical information. Your duties will include reviewing allergies, medical history, and lab values to identify potential drug interactions or contraindications. Additionally, you’ll supervise pharmacy technicians and students, support inventory management, and collaborate with providers on care continuity and discharge planning.

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive medication order verification and dispensing

Assess for clinical conflicts including allergies, interactions, and contraindications

Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students

Maintain strict inventory controls and ensure regulatory compliance

Offer real-time clinical consultation to prescribers and nurses

Assist with transitions of care and discharge counseling Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s Degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy

PharmD degree preferred

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (RPh)

BLS certification

At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
