Position Overview

    Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medications for inpatient use

  • Monitor patient medication regimens and adjust therapy as needed

  • Prevent, detect, and resolve drug-related problems

  • Educate healthcare staff on appropriate drug therapies and dosing

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to optimize outcomes

  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state board rules, and federal laws

  • Knowledge of IV preparation, sterile technique, and medication safety protocols

  • Familiarity with patient chart review and pharmacokinetic dosing
