As a Staff Pharmacist, you’ll play an integral role in the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care to hospitalized patients. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy and positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards

  • Monitor patient medication therapies, interpret lab values, and adjust dosages accordingly

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate treatment plans

  • Provide drug information and therapeutic recommendations to physicians and nursing staff

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and Joint Commission standards

  • Participate in medication reconciliation and discharge counseling as needed

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain workflow and accuracy

    Requirements:

  • Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

  • Strong clinical background with working knowledge of IV preparation, sterile compounding, and medication order verification

  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech)

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
