A progressive healthcare facility in Great Falls, Montana seeks an experienced pharmacy leader to serve as Interim Director of Pharmacy. POSITION OVERVIEW

As Interim Director of Pharmacy, you will assume full Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities while providing strategic leadership for all pharmacy services. This 3+ month assignment requires a seasoned pharmacy executive who can provide immediate stability, advance ongoing projects, and deliver exceptional leadership to a dedicated pharmacy team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge with full regulatory accountability
  • Provide comprehensive management of all pharmacy operations
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 pharmacists and support staff
  • Oversee critical facility projects including clean room renovation
  • Manage Medi-Tech related IT initiatives and system optimizations
  • Conduct financial analysis for infusion center operations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Maintain pharmacy quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare leadership
  • Represent pharmacy services in administrative discussions and strategic planning

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Montana Pharmacist license
  • Hospital pharmacy management experience
  • Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge experience
  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven team management skills
  • Experience with outpatient clinics and surgical hospital operations
  • Project management expertise for capital improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency with Touchpoint pharmacy system
  • Financial analysis and budget management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strategic planning and implementation experience
  • Knowledge of USP 797/800 standards and clean room operations

    WORK SCHEDULE

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No weekend coverage required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Immediate start date available
