Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, measure, and compound customized hormone medications under pharmacist supervision
  • Process and fill specialized prescriptions with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain inventory management systems for specialty medications and compounds
  • Perform data entry and manage electronic health records with patient-specific hormone therapy protocols
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers regarding prescription clarifications for hormone therapies
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy protocols for compounded medications
  • Assist with quality assurance processes for specialized hormone preparations
  • Support operational workflows to ensure timely medication delivery to patients receiving ongoing therapy

    Required Qualifications

  • Current Pharmacy Technician certification required
  • Active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy operations
  • Experience with compounding pharmacy or hormone therapy medications required
  • Experience in closed door or specialized pharmacy settings required
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software systems
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and hormone medications
