Full Time Clinical Pharmacist – Lamar, CO

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to serve a leading role in a well-rounded hospital pharmacy team in Lamar, Colorado. This is a dynamic opportunity to provide advanced pharmacy services in a critical access setting that spans emergency, med/surg, obstetrics, surgery, and outpatient infusion—offering both challenge and fulfillment for the right candidate.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: July 21

Duration: 14 weeks

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Responsibilities:

Review and verify medication orders, ensuring clinical appropriateness and safety

Provide pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments as needed

Offer expert guidance in antimicrobial stewardship and drug therapy optimization

Compound sterile products in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines

Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring proper operations and compliance

Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate with providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Deliver education and consultation to both medical staff and patients

Contribute to medication safety initiatives, hospital committees, and quality improvement projects Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Colorado Pharmacist License

Minimum of 1 year of hospital or clinical pharmacy experience

Proficient in sterile compounding, medication dosing protocols, and clinical consultation

Ability to manage a wide scope of pharmacy responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a rural hospital setting
