Assignment Specifics:
•    Full-time
•    13-weeks temp to perm
•    Shift: Monday-Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Duties:
•    Reviews patient medical and pharmaceutical records and monitors for efficient drug therapy, drug interaction, adverse drug reactions, contraindication, allergies, and sensitivities.
•    Interprets and performs order entry functions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
•    Serves as pharmacology consultant, a patient advocate, and a fiscal conscience to the healthcare team while providing clinical services to meet the needs of patients/care providers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
•    Monitor and/or prepare sterile IV admixtures or solutions.
•    Perform clinical profile reviews to assess safety and accuracy of medication services; coordination of patients’ pharmaceutical needs with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses.

Pay: $68+ based on experience.

Requirements:
•    Active Pharmacist license in the state of New York
•    At least 1+ years’ experience in an Inpatient or Home Infusion Pharmacy setting preferred.
•    1+ year experience IV compounding
