Soliant Health is now hiring for a full-time travel pharmacist position just minutes from Camden, NJ in Philadelphia. This is a high-volume, hospital-based role designed for professionals ready to step into a fast-paced, clinically intensive setting.
Assignment Details:Start: July 21
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts per week (Day Shift)
What You’ll Do:
As a clinical pharmacist in an acute care setting, you will review and interpret physician medication orders to ensure appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmacotherapy. You’ll monitor patient labs, past medical history, allergies, and concurrent drug use for potential clinical issues. This position also includes oversight of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns, assisting with discharge planning, and supporting medical staff with drug information and therapeutic guidance.
Key Responsibilities: Verify and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols
Analyze clinical data to guide medication therapy decisions
Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and case managers
Train and oversee support staff including technicians and students
Maintain proper inventory and adherence to safety regulations
Support transitions of care and ensure accurate discharge medication planning
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school
PharmD preferred
Active PA Pharmacist License
BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
Strong clinical acumen and attention to detail
Proficiency with electronic health records and sterile compounding procedures
