Position Overview

  • Title: Full Time 503B Compounding Pharmacist - Princeton, NJ

    Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all sterile compounding operations in strict compliance with USP <797>, FDA, BOP, cGMP, and PCAB guidelines

  • Support and enforce regulatory readiness in collaboration with the Director of Operations/Pharmacist-in-Charge

  • Oversee pharmacist licensing compliance across all active and applicable states

  • Monitor, interpret, and implement changes from all relevant state and federal agencies

  • Assist in the development and launch of new 503B compounded products

  • Work cross-functionally with supply chain and operations teams to manage inventory, including BUD (Beyond-Use Date) tracking

  • Identify trends in production or compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Foster a culture of accountability, mentorship, and operational excellence

  • Demonstrated leadership in sterile compounding within a 503B facility

  • Adept at navigating FDA guidelines, cGMP standards, and USP <797> procedures

  • Strong communicator with a passion for quality assurance and process control

  • Driven by regulatory excellence and proactive in system improvements

  • Comfortable in high-volume, high-stakes compounding environments


    Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy required

  • Active NJ Pharmacist License required

  • Must be eligible or hold current licenses in additional states such as AL, AR, ID, KS, MI, MS, NV, NY, OH, OK, KY, VA

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a 503B facility or sterile compounding setting

  • Solid understanding of USP <797>, PCAB accreditation, and FDA compounding guidelines

  • Background in hospital, long-term care, clinical, or IV infusion pharmacy preferred
