About the Position
You’ll supervise the prescription fulfillment process, support a team of technicians, and ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations. The role also involves direct patient interaction and medication counseling, particularly in the realm of compounded medications and specialized therapies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate prescription preparation
Verify all compounded prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance with federal and state laws
Guide pharmacy support staff and maintain quality assurance protocols
Step in with packaging, shipping, and inventory when needed
Provide in-depth counseling on prescriptions, OTC medications, and supplements
Review medication histories and help develop care plans for optimal outcomes
Identify and resolve potential therapeutic duplications or drug interaction risks
Shifts Available
Wednesday–Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Monday–Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Candidate Requirements
Valid PA Pharmacist License
Recent experience in a retail, outpatient, or compounding pharmacy setting
Strong attendance and reliability record
Familiarity with non-sterile or sterile compounding is a plus
Open to recent pharmacy graduates with a strong clinical mindset
