Evening Shift Compounding Pharmacy Technician PA
Join a growing specialty compounding pharmacy where precision, compliance, and quality come together to create patient-specific medications. This 13-week contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with both non-sterile and sterile compounding in a structured, production-focused environment.
You’ll be trained across both production and fulfillment functions, giving you the tools to thrive in a high-performance pharmacy setting. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to consistent attendance—reliability is critical for this client.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> compounding guidelines
Accurately read prescriptions and input data into the pharmacy system
Compound medications using precise measurements and documented processes
Prepare and manage batch formula logs and maintain full documentation
Label, package, and verify compounded medications for accuracy and compliance
Maintain and organize inventory, PPE, and equipment
Ensure timely fulfillment and readiness of compounded prescriptions
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
Prior experience with sterile and/or non-sterile compounding is required
Active pharmacy technician license is required (PA preferred)
PTCB certification is required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Willingness to learn and grow within a specialized compounding environment
