Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Pharmacy Manager with inventory control, ordering stock, and tracking weekly sales to meet customer needs and business goals
Compound medications by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients; fill prescriptions with accuracy and care
Advise patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications, including self-care options
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed
Regularly perform patient immunizations
When covering for the Pharmacy Manager, lead and supervise pharmacy staff, manage schedules, recognize staff performance, and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
PA Immunization Certification strongly preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
Flexibility to float between store locations and adapt to varying schedules
