Soliant Health is seeking experienced Per Diem Retail Pharmacists in Pittsburgh, PA for a unique opportunity with a specialty retail pharmacy. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care, working with individuals who have chronic, advanced disease states, and providing consultation on complex medication therapies.

Key Details:

Coverage Dates: May 27 and May 30 (will pay for 2 training shifts prior to these dates)

Time: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Software Used: Pioneer Rx Experience & Qualifications:

Strong retail and/or specialty pharmacy experience is required. Previous specialty pharmacy experience is highly preferred.

Must be capable of confidently consulting patients with chronic, advanced disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, MS, and other similar conditions.

Disease state management and consultation skills are a must—this includes understanding complex medication therapies and how they impact patients with these conditions.

This pharmacy works with a patient population that includes Medicare/Medicaid and low-income patients, many of whom have low literacy levels. Pharmacists should have compassion, patience, and strong communication skills to effectively educate and counsel patients.
