We are actively seeking a motivated Hospital Pharmacist for a contract position at a 200-bed hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. This is a great opportunity for someone with hospital experience to step into a flexible schedule in a busy inpatient setting.
Position Details:
Location: Shreveport, LA
Setting: 200-bed hospital
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
Orientation: 1 week on day shift
Ongoing shifts: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:40 PM
Every other weekend required
Option available: 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM) on Sat–Tues, every other weekend
IT System: EPIC
Key Responsibilities:
Verifying medication orders
Supervising pharmacy technicians
Collaborating with physicians and nurses on patient care
Ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing
Requirements:
Active Louisiana pharmacist license
Strong inpatient hospital experience highly preferred
