Contract Hospital Pharmacist New Mexico

We are seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a 13-week contract at a 99-bed medical facility in New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with strong clinical skills and an interest in serving a rural community. Temp-to-hire potential is available for the right candidate.
Position Details:
Location: New Mexico (specific location provided upon request)
Facility Size: 99 beds
Schedule: Day shifts
Duration: 13 weeks (temp-to-hire potential)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform order verification and ensure accuracy and safety of medication dispensing
Oversee and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic monitoring
Communicate with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Utilize MedHost EMR system for medication management
Requirements:
Active New Mexico Pharmacist License or eligibility for temporary licensure
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
Familiarity with MedHost EMR is a plus
