Community Pharmacist - Full-Time Contract - Sandford, FL
An established healthcare provider in the Sanford area is looking for a Staff Pharmacist to support its busy pharmacy team. This temporary role is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in fast-paced, patient-centered settings and may be seeking a longer-term opportunity.
The pharmacy is part of a network of six in-house locations serving communities across the greater Orlando area, operating within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model.
Location: Sanford, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Closed for lunch 1:15–2:15)
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Assignment Length: 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of contract-to-hire
Role Overview:
Ensure safe, timely, and accurate dispensing of prescriptions using McKesson’s EnterpriseRx (ERx)
Provide outstanding service and care to patients from a wide range of backgrounds
Coordinate closely with medical and support staff to maintain high standards of care
Foster trust and communication with patients to improve health outcomes
What We're Looking For:
Florida-licensed pharmacist in good standing
Solid background in retail or community pharmacy is essential
Experience in FQHC or similar clinical environments strongly preferred
Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is a major plus
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A passion for serving underserved populations
