Clinical Travel Pharmacist (Travel Contract) - Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves reviewing and dispensing medication orders, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to optimize care.
Position Details:
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Start Date: July 21
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 eight-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Review medication orders for drug appropriateness, dose, frequency, and route
Assess patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and lab data for potential issues
Dispense medications accurately and safely
Supervise pharmacy technicians and students during medication preparation
Manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulations
Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and discharge planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy (required)
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or APPE clinical rotations preferred
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
