Job Title: Clinical Infusion Pharmacist

Location: Inglewood, CA

Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts

Hours: 32–40 hours/week (prefers 5 days, open to 4-day/week candidates)

Reports To: Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)

About the Pharmacy:

90% specialty medications, 10% sterile/non-sterile compounding

High patient growth – volume has nearly doubled

Replacing a pharmacist who relocated internationally

Strong, long-term opportunity for a committed local candidate

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and dispense prescription orders per protocols

Provide clinical counseling and monitor ongoing therapy

Communicate with prescribers for refills, clarifications, and care coordination

Supervise compounding and oversee pharmacy technicians

Manage inventory, lot tracking, and recall systems

Assist with insurance claim adjudication and billing support

Maintain compliance logs and pharmacy records in CareTend

Participate in accreditation, inspections, and quality initiatives

Serve as PIC when needed and participate in the on-call rotation

Required Qualifications:

PharmD or BSPharm from an ACPE-accredited institution

Active California Pharmacist license in good standing

Preferred Experience (must meet at least 3–6 of the following):

2–4 years in home infusion, hospital, or specialty pharmacy (biologics, IVIG)

Familiarity with URAC and ACHC standards

Proficiency in pharmacy software (preferably CareTend), claims adjudication, Microsoft Office

Experience with Prism Pumps

Strong understanding of USP 795, 797, and 800 (can train if needed)

Willingness to obtain licensure in additional U.S. states
