4-Week Per Diem Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Erlanger, KY

Soliant Health is seeking a highly qualified Per Diem Inpatient Staff Pharmacist (PIC) for a 4-week contract position in Erlanger, KY. This position requires a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and is ideal for pharmacists with entry-level inpatient experience. The coverage will be needed 2-3 days per week from May 2nd to May 30th, with no coverage required on May 7th, 14th, and 15th. There is a possibility of extending the contract, depending on facility needs.

Job Requirements:

Kentucky State Licensure as a Pharmacist is required.

Entry-level inpatient pharmacy experience is required.

WellSky Order Entry System experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Omnicell Site Automation experience is preferred but training will be offered.

Experience in behavioral health is a plus.

Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with no weekend or on-call coverage required.

Strong understanding of order verification, clinical monitoring, and antimicrobial and pain stewardship.

Ability to reconcile Omnicell discrepancies, check medication passes, and verify home medications.

1-2 days of training will be provided in the week of April 28th, or sooner if available. As a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC), you will work closely with a team of dedicated staff members, including 1 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) pharmacist and 1 FTE technician. The tech will support you by stocking units, prepacking medications, and pulling expired medications.
